Photo Guide

Why Photos Are Important

I design every tattoo directly onto your body photos so it fits you perfectly, which is why it’s really important to take accurate photos with no awkward cropping or angles.

This guide shows you exactly how to take the right photos first time, so everything can be prepared properly in advance. Please wear appropriate clothing, take photos in good, even lighting (no drastic shadows) and be the only person in the shot! It’s easiest to get somebody to take the photos for you rather than taking mirror pics and selfies.

Camera Angles

Correct

Holding your phone parallel to the body creates an even photograph with no distortion which shows the shape of your body most accurately.

Incorrect

Holding your camera at an angle creates a warped and distorted view of your body. Drawing a design to photos taken like this will not fit your body properly in real life.
